Greggs completes its roll trilogy with new Chicken Roll launch
It’s time to roll out the blue carpet at the Merrion Centre as Greggs unveils its brand-new Chicken Roll – the third instalment in the retailer’s iconic roll trilogy.
Available at Both Merrion Greggs Stores
Joining the much-loved Sausage Roll and the fan-favourite Vegan Roll (Pork Free), the Chicken Roll will be available at both Greggs stores at the Merrion Centre from Thursday 9th April, starting from just £1.35. Customers can find Greggs both on Merrion Street and inside on the main mall, which now features a recently extended café area for visitors to sit back and enjoy their favourites.
The latest addition to the line-up stars seasoned chicken wrapped in layers of crisp, golden, glazed puff pastry – a blockbuster combination set to become a firm favourite with Greggs fans.
A Fresh Addition to Greggs’ Trilogy
As the third chapter in Greggs’ legendary roll trilogy, the Chicken Roll takes its place alongside two of the nation’s most recognisable savoury bakes. Designed to deliver the same comforting, flaky experience customers know and love, this new arrival brings a fresh twist to the menu while staying true to Greggs’ signature taste and value.

The Chicken Roll will be a permanent fixture on the menu and will also be available to order via Click + Collect on the Greggs App, as well as for delivery.
The Greggs App, free to download, offers customers a range of rewards. For every nine purchases across categories including hot drinks, sandwiches, bakes and sweet treats, users can enjoy one item free. New users will also receive a free iced or hot drink upon registration, plus a free sweet treat on their birthday each year.
