Town Centre Car Parks have gone bonkers for conkers!

This September, Town Centre Car Parks are taking a big step to help out the environment with a unique promotion. For one week only, you’ll be able to pay for your car parking at The Merrion Centre Car park & Clarence Dock by just using conkers.
With Autumn rapidly approaching and as conker season reaches fever pitch, traditionally starting August Bank Holiday weekend, customers can pay for their parking at three of the biggest TCCP car parks at a rate of one conker equalling 20p in parking value. Town Centre Car Parks will then sponsor a forest in the United Kingdom to help offset the rising levels of emissions from vehicles.
Ben Ziff, Managing Director of Town Centre Car Parks says “Car emissions are on the rise throughout the country. We thought it would be a fun idea to raise awareness and give a little bit back. We all have fond memories of looking for conkers so this seemed like a great idea for our customers. We are looking forward to seeing how many people bring us”.

Get hunting around those horse chestnut trees for falling conkers, save some car parking costs and help out the environment!
